Feriha Şenkaya Dildar, M.SFeriha Şenkaya Dildar graduated from Istanbul University Psychological Counseling Department in 1989. She received her master’s degree in Child Health Institute of Istanbul University, Çapa Medical Faculty in 1990. She worked voluntarily in the same department and served as a consultant on preschool education. Feriha Dildar attended Liverpool University and Manchester Child Hospital workshops on “child centered family therapy” and “emotional and behavioral disorders in children”. She worked as a part-time lecturer at Boğaziçi University Psychology Department between the years 1998 and 2000. Since 1992, she has been running, and working at PSI Child and Family Counseling Center with children and their families applying individual child therapy and child centered family therapy, which are mostly based on cognitive behavioral techniques. |

Gülay Öter, M.AGülay Öter graduated from the Child Psychology Department (currently Counseling and Psychological Guidance Department) of Istanbul University in 1987. Between 1990-1992, she worked as the coordinator of the “parenting school” that was organized by Istanbul University. She got her master’s degree from the Forensic Medicine Institute of Istanbul University in 1992 and wrote her master’s thesis on juvanile delinquency and family function. She served as a counselor at various schools for eight years. She participated in training programs and supervisions in Family Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, and Psychoanalytic-Oriented Play Therapy. Gülay Öter has joined the PSI team in 1996, and still works with children, adolescents and their families. |

Şebnem Orhan, M.AAfter receiving psychology degree in Boğaziçi University in 1994, Şebnem Orhan earned her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at the same university, in 1999. She worked in a home-based intervention program between 1992 and 1995 with children who were diagnosed with attention deficiency, learning disabilities, language and behavioral problems. From 1995 to 1998, she participated in family therapy and play therapy trainings and had a psychodrama group training in an institution connected to Uberlingen Moreno Psychodrama Institutes. Having received an expressive art therapy training in 2003-2004, Şebnem Orhan also participated in the “Tavistock Infant Observation” training between 2004-2006. Currently, she’s continuing her professional training with European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She conducted research projects based on postpartum depression and attachment. She led the mother support groups in a Community Health Center (Sağlık Ocağı) in 2003-2004 and also led support groups for preadolescents in a socially deprived region in 2008-2009. Since 2010, she is working voluntarily in The Little Steps Project which aims to provide emotional support to the caregivers of the 0 to 3 years old babies living in the Child Protection Agency (SHCEK). Şebnem is a part of the PSI Child and Family Counseling Center since 1995 where she works with preschool and school-aged children who have emotional and behavioral problems and their families. |

Mine Kayraklı Duman, M.AMine Kayraklı Duman graduated from İtalian High School in 2000. She received her psychology degree in Boğaziçi University in 2005. She worked as an intern at Şişli Etfal Hospital psychiatry department and Çapa child psychology department. She received her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University. Her masters thesis was on ‘Expectations and Child Rearing Practices of Turkish Urban Middle Class Mothers'. In 2006-2007, she voluntarily worked at Marmara University Child Psychology Department, PSI Child and Family Counseling Center and Istanbul Bilgi University Counseling Center. She participated in a two-year program, named 'From Psychoanalysis to Dynamic Psychotherapies'. Currently, Mine Duman works at PSI Child and Family Counseling Center and her clinical work includes individual psychotherapy with adults and play therapy with children who have emotional problems. |

Ayça Karagöz (Uzman Psikolog)Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümünden 2003 yılında mezun olmuştur. 2002-2004 yılları arasında PSİ Çocuk ve Aile merkezinde staj ve ev servisi görevini sürdürmüştür. 2004 yılında New Jersey Play Therapy Training Institude'da otizm ve gelişim geriliğinde oyun terapisi eğitimi almıştır. 2005 yılından itibaren otizm, yaygın gelişimsel bozukluk, mental retardasyon, asperger bozukluğa sahip çocuklara özel eğitim ve bilişsel-davranışçı teoriye dayanan oyun terapisi uygulamaktadır. 2007 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Deneysel Psikoloji Yüksek Lisans Programından mezun olmuştur. PSİ Çocuk ve Aile Merkezinde 2007 yılından itibaren gelişimsel geriliği olan ve otizm spektrumundaki çocuklara özel eğitim ve oyun terapisi uygulamaktadır. |

Gülenbaht Algaç, M.AAfter graduating from Ankara University Political Science Faculty in 1993, Gulenbaht had a scholarship from Istanbul Bilgi University and received psychology and history degrees as a double major student. Her Master’s thesis was on ‘Duration of Marriage and Marital Satisfaction’. She earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology at the same university and participated in the two-year seminar series called “From Psychoanalysis to Dynamic Psychotherapies.” She worked as an intern in the Adolescent Unit of Bakırköy Mental Hospital, afterwards continued an “art therapy” training program in Istanbul University, Çapa Medical Faculty, and attended to several supervision programs. Gulenbaht also received “Adult Attachment Interview” training organized in Minnesota University Training Institute and between 2008-2010,she completed and passed reliability testing for analysis of the Adult Attachment Interview. Her master’s dissertation focused on adults’ attachment relations in Turkey. She also participated in the Mentalization Based Family Therapy and Mentalization Based Adolescent Group Therapy Courses at the Anna Freud Center. She translated books and articles on psychology. Currently, she is working with adolescents, adults, and couples using dynamic oriented therapy techniques in PSI Child and Family Counseling Center. Simultaneously, she is a student at the Professional Doctorate Program in Psychoanalytic Couple Therapy at Tavistock Center for Couple Relationships in London |

Bengi Keskin, M.SGraduated from Saint-Joseph Private French Highschool, Bengi Keskin received her psychology degree in Koç University Istanbul in 2006. She completed Child and Adolescent Psychology Master’s Program of Leiden University in the Netherlands, in 2008. She worked with children and adolescents who had behavioral problems using cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques within the projects of Leiden University Graduate Programs. During her one year assistantship and internship in PSI Child and Family Counseling Center, she supported children having attention deficit problems, developmental delays, and language problems in the home environment. Bengi Keskin joined the team of PSI in 2009, she is currently working with preschool children having developmental delays and language problems combining special education programs and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. |

Yudum Akyıl, M.AYudum Akyil graduated from Boğaziçi University Psychology Department in 1998 and earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology in the same university in 2000. After working with children individually as a play therapist, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to continue her career as a family therapist. In 2003 she received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Massachusetts, Boston. Then she worked as a home-based family therapist with high risk families. Meanwhile, she fulfilled the clinical hours to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In 2008, she started the doctoral program in Marriage and Family Therapy in Antioch University, New England where she taught courses and supervised student therapists. Yudum is interested in how the values are transmitted in families and how they affect parent-child relationships. She has presentations and publications regarding immigration, the therapeutic impact of therapist’s characteristics and education in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently teaching and supervising at Doğuş University Clinical Psychology Master’s program and Bilgi University Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate program. |
